Snap & GO Spacers

S & C Manufacturing, LLC., d/b/a Snap & Go Spacers, is a family-owned manufacturing business located in Bernie, Missouri, USA. The business is owned and operated by Scott Stephens and his wife, Michelle.

Scott has owned and operated his own residential and commercial construction business for over two decades. After years of performing the time-consuming, frustrating work of placing switches and other outlets in overly recessed, uneven electrical boxes, Scott thought that there must be a way to design a more user-friendly spacer than what the market currently offered. After many nights and hours of thought, Scott designed, developed, and made the Snap & Go Spacer. 

Confident in his product design and usefulness, Scott traveled to St. Louis hired a patent attorney, and obtained a provisional patent protecting his innovative invention with patent pending status. 

The Snap & Go Spacer allows for the quick, easy mounting of a switch or other outlet to an electrical box at the proper depth relative to the wall in which the box is placed to ensure that the receptacle and face plate are flush with the wall. This one-piece snap on spacer attaches to the electrical box aligning with the threaded anchor in the box, allowing handsfree installation of the switch or outlet. The spacers are made in various sizes that are color coded, self-measuring, and, add rigidity and stability to the switch or receptacle.

The Snap & Go Spacer also offers the same benefits when used with an electrical box extender. Our patent also covers spacers, with the same benefits, that can be used on round and octagon electric boxes. These spacers have been designed and prototypes are being made. 

No more guessing about the correct length, no more wrestling with a rubbery, flimsy, unstable spacer, no more gathering up enough washers to fill an uneven gap; no more attempting to hold a floating spacer, outlet and screw at the same time, no more trying to manipulate separate pieces together while trying to align the screw with the box anchor, no more dropping the screws or washers and starting over.
